Founded on 2nd June 2010, the Polytechnicum Burgundy Franche-Comté brings together elements of the University of Burgundy (ESIREM, ISAT, IAE de Dijon), and the University of Franche-Comté  (ISIFC et IAE UFC), along with the following Universities of Technology, Colleges and Institutes: UTBM, ENSMM, GroupeESC Dijon Bourgogne, ITII Bourgogne, AGROSUP Dijon, Arts et Métiers Paris Tech centre de Cluny.

It sets out to generate, support and unite development projects between its members for students and promote the transfer of knowledge and experience with a view to improving the attractiveness and competitiveness of the establishments and their regions.
